GreenLeaf Homes provides regulated supported accommodation for young people aged 16–18+, with single-sex settings for both young men and young women.
We accept both planned and urgent referrals and aim to provide placement teams with a clear and timely response.
Start With a Call – 24/7
If you are considering a placement, the first step is to call our team on 0207 971 7620.
Our referral line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing placement teams and social workers to discuss the young person, current availability, and initial suitability before submitting a full referral.
Referral Assessment
All referrals are carefully reviewed to consider:
Whether we can safely meet the young person’s needs
Current risks and safeguarding requirements
The level of support required
Compatibility and matching with other young people within the home
Any additional arrangements required to support a safe and stable placement
Where appropriate, we will speak with the referring professional to clarify any additional information and agree the proposed support arrangements.
Placement Planning
Once a placement is agreed, we work with the young person, their social worker and relevant professionals to plan a safe transition.
Where circumstances allow, this may include an introductory visit and pre-placement discussion to agree:
Placement objectives and expected outcomes
Support and safeguarding arrangements
Education, health and other professional involvement
Transition and move-in arrangements
For urgent referrals, we will work with the placing authority to complete the necessary assessment and planning as quickly as possible without compromising safeguarding or appropriate matching.
We understand the pressures faced by placement and commissioning teams and aim to provide clear, responsive and transparent communication throughout the referral and placement process.
